Le manuel explique les dispositions de la Convention européenne des droits de l'homme concernant la liberté de pensée, de conscience et de religion. Il décrit les concepts clés de la jurisprudence de la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme et examine la distribution des rôles et des responsabilités entre l'État et les citoyens.
