Vooreerst heb ik de toepasbare norm NBN S21 208-2 bestudeerd. Vervolgens heb ik enkele schematische voorstellingen gemaakt hoe ik een oplossing zag die voldoet aan de norm en aan het universeel concept dat centraal staat. Deze voorstellingen bestonden uit o.a. een flowchart die als basis kan dienen voor een PLC programma. Aan de basis van de flowchart ligt een werkingsmatrix die ik van een simplistische vorm naar een volledige vorm heb gebracht. Hierbij wordt de werking uitvoerig besproken. Verder worden ook externe elementen, zoals het synoptisch bord, betrokken bij het geheel. Hieruit kon ik een lastenboek van een stuurkast opstellen. Dit hoofdstuk wordt gevolgd door een marktonderzoek waar ik onder andere veldbussystemen onderzoek met het oog op het meest ideale bussysteem voor ons project. Verder worden er ook enkele frequentieregelaars en softstarters besproken van enkele fabrikanten. Als laatste stuk staat de praktische uitvoering centraal. Omdat deze door externe bedrijven werden voltooid, fungeerde ik als een van de tussenpersonen in dit verhaal. Hierbij speelde mijn eerder onderzoek een grote rol. Hierbij konden zij gebruik maken van mijn uitgewerkte studie. De combinatie tussen mijn theoretische studie en hun expertise leverde een verdere optimalisatie op van het totale ontwerp. My first task was to study the new norm NBN 208-2. This gave me enough knowledge to make a schematic solution conforming the norm and, from the beginning, the very important universal concept. This solution contains a flow chart that can be useful as a base to an actual PLC-program. To make and use the flowchart you have to use and understand the working matrix. I have completed the complex matrix starting from a simple matrix. The usage is extensively explained is this work. Also there will be some explanation of external elements, like the synoptic board, to complete and understand the whole story.From this point I was able to establish a specification sheet. This chapter is followed by a research of communication methods with the hardware-elements to find the most ideal communications protocol on the market to use in my project. In this chapter I also researched the drive and softstarter from some brands on the Belgian market.After the theoretic solution research, there is a chapter about the execution of the project. Because of the core-business of Somatic, the execution is done by external companies. My function in this was one of the spokesmen of Somati. The companies have taken my theoretical research into account. The combination of their expertise and my theoretical research resulted in an optimalisation of the entire design.
