The consumption of medicines has gained such importance in society that it already represents a field of study, pharmacoepidemiology. This book is a manual on Drug Use Studies (EUM), offering information for both students and professionals. It brings an important theoretical and methodological advance: the insertion of the EUM in the frameworks of the theme of quality assurance in health, as well as in the concepts of Donabedian used in the evaluation of hospital technology.
