Pier Luigi Nervi (1891-1979), ingénieur italien, a utilisé la photographie tout au long de sa carrière pour promouvoir son travail. La collection Alberto Sartoris contient plus d'une centaine de prises de vues réalisées par de nombreux photographes et conservées aux Archives de la construction moderne.
