This book contains 206 papers presented at the 20th International Conference on Coastal Engineering. The book is divided into five parts: theoretical and observed wave characteristics; coastal processes and sediment transport; coastal structures and related problems; coastal, estuarine and environmental problems; and ship motions. Reports include the effects of wind, storms, and currents. Erosion, sedimentation and beach nourishment are covered.
