Nordisk ministerråd tok i 1998 initiativet til en sammenlignende studie av nordisk familie- og arverett. Resultatet foreligger bl.a. i bøkene: Nordisk børneret I - farskap og morskap samt underhåll til barn - en sammenlignende studie af dansk, finsk islandsk, norsk og svensk ret med drøftelser af harmoniseringsmuligheder og reformbehov (Nord 2003:4) av Peter Lødrup, Anders Agell og Anna Singer. Nordisk børnret II - Forældreansvar - en sammenlignende studie af dansk, finsk, islandsk, norsk og svensk ret med drøftelser af harmoniseringsmuligheder og reformbehov (Nord 2003:14) av Svend Danielsen. 27. juni 2005 arrangerte det norske Barne- og familiedepartementet et nordisk seminar i samarbeid med Justis- og politidepartementet og med støtte fra Nordisk Ministerråd. Formålet med seminaret var å få presentert og debattert enkelte problemstillinger innen barnerett som er utredet i disse studiene og å innhente kunnskap og synspunkter samt diskutere behovet og nytten av nordisk lovharmonisering innenfor barnerett. Alle de nordiske landene var representert. Rapporten inneholder innleggene som ble holdt under seminaret, programmet og deltakerliste.

Após realizarmos análise de telejornais de cinco emissoras abertas brasileiras, chegamos à conclusão de que os noticiários televisivos não abordam os Direitos Humanos e, quando abordam, é de maneira pouco educativa. A Educação em Direitos Humanos, por meio da mídia, não é a única forma de combater o preconceito e a ignorância, mas é uma via importante, já que tem capacidade de atingir grande parte da população. A ausência de discussões sobre os Direitos Humanos contribui para que as pessoas não conheçam seus direitos e não possam reivindicar aquilo que lhes é assegurado.

Norway tops international indexes on children's rights but continues to attract criticism for its level of compliance with the Convention of the Rights of Child. This book address this implementation paradox.The authors ask: What is the current level of implementation? How can we explain any gap in perceived performance? Can we improve our measurement of children's rights? With the use of quantitative and qualitative methods, the volume examines a wide range of areas relevant to children's rights. These include child protection and sexual violence, detention and policing, poverty and custody proceedings, asylum and disability, sexual orientation and gender identity, and childcare and human rights education. In addition, the book offers a proposal for an alternative statistical approach to measuring Norway's performance. The book's editors conclude by pointing towards the complex set of factors that complicate full realisation and the need for the Government to engage in proper measurement of implementation.
