Cet ouvrage s’intéresse à la manière dont cette double expérience façonne leurs rapports à la politique. À l’orée des années 2010, l’enquête de longue haleine menée auprès des étudiant·e·s de plusieurs facultés de droit et de science politique et d’instituts d’études politiques en France révèle une population étudiante massifiée et diversifiée. L’ouvrage analyse les manières dont s’entremêlent chez ces jeunes adultes, les appartenances sociales et familiales, leurs styles de vie, la politisation et l’attention à la campagne pour comprendre leur rapport au vote et à la politique. L’ouvrage se double d’une réflexion méthodologique sur les outils classiques de la sociologie électorale quantitative et la mise en œuvre d’une enquête auprès d’une population étudiante.
