Es herrscht eine große Einmütigkeit, dass sich an der Priesterausbildung künftig etwas ändern muss. Dabei sind die Erwartungen an die Priesterausbildung groß, aber ebenso die Widersprüche hinsichtlich des Priesterbilds. Überspitzt formuliert: Wir wissen zwar nicht, wie wir das Priestertum beschreiben sollen, wissen aber, wie Ausbildung funktionieren muss. Vielleicht ist es gut, vor der großen Reform der Priesterausbildung einen Fakten-Check zu machen: Wie werden Priester heute ausgebildet? Was findet denn eigentlich gerade statt? Der vorliegende Beitrag hat als Anliegen, Sachlichkeit, Erfahrungswerte und Perspektiven in die Diskussion einzubringen. Er ist keine wissenschaftliche Studie, sondern ein Werkstattbericht: der gegenwärtige Stand der Ausbildung wird beschrieben, um eine Grundlage für die nächsten Schritte zu gewinnen.

The efficient management of a consistent and integrated database is a central task in modern IT and highly relevant for science and industry.
