Le maraîchage écologique sans labour prend appui sur trois principes fondamentaux du jardinage sans retournement, ou non-labour :Perturber le moins possible grâce à une bonne maîtrise des techniques de préparation du sol : retour sur les fondamentaux de la photosynthèse, toutes les bases pour commencer à préparer son sol au non-labour (choix du site, transition vers le non-labour, semis direct, travail du sol par les animaux, conception de planches permanentes).Couvrir le plus possible en faisant un usage raisonné du compost, des couvre-sols et des différents types de paillis, et par une gestion appropriée du retournement des plates-bandes, de la gestion des allées et cheminements. Maintenir les plantations autant que possible : gestion de la fertilité, utilisation des cultures de couverture pour la fertilité, préparer le lit sans labourer, transplantations et cultures intermédiaires, l’exemple de 7 cultures sans labour du début à la fin (carotte, roquette, ail, laitue, patate douce, betterave, tomate cerise).

La question du « zéro artificialisation nette » vient bousculer les pratiques de l'aménagement du territoire. C'est aujourd'hui un sujet de questionnement majeur pour les élus locaux, les techniciens des collectivités et plus largement, l'ensemble des acteurs qui œuvrent au développement territorial. Ces questionnements, auxquels nous sommes confrontés quotidiennement dans le cadre de nos missions de conseil et d'expertise juridique, ont fait naître l'idée de cet ouvrage. Nous l'avons conçu à la fois pédagogique et prospectif, à destination des collectivités locales et de leurs partenaires. La première partie est conçue comme un véritable guide de mise en œuvre en reprenant le cadre législatif et opérationnel du ZAN. Les deuxième et troisième parties sont plutôt destinées à prendre du recul par rapport aux changements et aux opportunités que le ZAN va générer dans la manière de fabriquer les territoires en termes de gouvernance, de modèles économiques et plus largement de connaissance terrain. Nous sommes convaincus que la mise en œuvre du ZAN constitue une formidable opportunité d'innover pour concevoir des logements, des zones d'activités économiques, des équipements publics plus sobres et plus vertueux dans leur réponse aux besoins des usagers.

"This book is an innovative study that places performance and dance studies in conversation with ecology by exploring the significance of dirt in performance. Focusing on a range of 20th and 21st century performances that include modern dance, dance-theatre, Butoh, and everyday life, this book demonstrates how the choreography of dirt makes biological, geographical, and cultural meaning, what the author terms biogeocultography. Whether it's the Foundling Father digging into the earth's strata in Suzan-Lori Park's The America Play (1994), peat hurling through the air in Pina Bausch's The Rite of Spring (1975), dancers' frantically shovelling out fistfuls of dirt in Eveoke Dance Theatre's Las Mariposas (2010), or Butoh performers dancing with fungi in Iván-Daniel Espinosa's Messengers Divinos (2018), each example shows how the incorporation of dirt can reveal micro-level interactions between species - like the interplay between microscopic skin bacteria and soil protozoa - and macro-level interactions-like the transformation of peat to a greenhouse gas. By demonstrating the stakes of moving dirt, this book posits that performance can operate as a space to grapple with the multifaceted ecological dilemmas of the Anthropocene.
