Im Fokus dieses Sammelbands stehen ästhetische wie diskursive Strategien zur Darstellung von Arbeit und Arbeitswelten in der deutschsprachigen Literatur seit der New Economy. Der Arbeitsbegriff im Zeitalter der New Economy umfasst nun auch Bereiche wie Management, Wissenschaft und künstlerische Arbeit sowie Sphären der Nicht-Arbeit, die Arbeit am Selbst, an persönlichen Beziehungen oder Care-Arbeit.
