Alle signalen op ons pad, grote en kleine, zoals Brand, Mieren in huis, Het Pre-Menstrueel Syndroom, Problemen tijdens de Menopauze, Een diep verdriet, of Je fiets is gestolen… geven ons belangrijke wenken. Gebeurtenissen, ziekten en verschijnselen in je leven (of in je dromen) gebeuren niet “zomaar”. Ze zijn een veruitwendiging van iets dat op dieperliggend vlak gebeurt : in je psyche, je emotioneel leven, in je overtuigings- en verwachtingspatroon. Indien we deze ‘signalen’ goed begrijpen en tot inzicht komen in de werkelijke reden van hun bestaan, dan kunnen we onszelf bewust bijsturen en ons een hele stap verder brengen op weg naar meer leven in vreugde en gezondheid. Het Signalenboek 3 is het derde in de reeks Signalenboeken en kan totaal los en onafhankelijk van de andere delen gelezen en gebruikt worden. Het bevat o.a. ook een zeer diepgaande beschrijving van de psychologische oorzaken en oplossingen van drugsverslaving. De reeks Signalenboeken kan beschouwd worden als een vervolg op “De Sleutel tot Zelf-Bevrijding”, het eerste, welbekende werk van Christiane Beerlandt, dat ondertussen is vertaald in diverse wereldtalen. Deze Vlaamse levensfilosoof (°1955) maakt gebruik van haar bijzondere vermogens om de diepstliggende betekenis (energetisch, emotioneel, psychologisch...) van gebeurtenissen, ziekten en feiten naar boven te halen. Het “waarom” verklaard. Terwijl “De Sleutel tot Zelf-Bevrijding” de diepere oorsprong van ongeveer 1300 ziekten beschrijft, spreidt de inhoud van de Signalenboeken zich uit over een zeer breed terrein van gebeurtenissen, feiten, ziekten, psychische toestanden, enz. …

Despite the humble origins of its name (Anglo Saxon for 'the speck at the head of a boil'), the dot has been one of the most versatile players in the history of written communication, to the point that it has become virtually indispensable. No other symbol is as omnipresent in Poland as the cross. This multilayered and contradictory icon features prominently in public spaces and state institutions. It is anchored in the country's visual history, inspires protest culture, and dominates urban and rural landscapes. The cross recalls Poland's historic struggles for independence and anti-Communist dissent, but it also encapsulates the country's current position in Europe as a self-avowed bulwark of Christianity and a champion of conservative values. It is both a national symbol - defining the boundaries of Polishness in opposition to a changing constellation of the country's Others - and a key object of contestation in the creative arts and political culture. Despite its long history, the cross has never been systematically studied as a political symbol in its capacity to mobilize for action and solidify power structures. Cross Purposes is the first cultural history of the cross in modern Poland, deconstructing this key symbol and exploring how it has been deployed in different political battles.
