Au cours de ces trois dernières années, les multiples crises mondiales et l'impératif de plus en plus urgent de limiter le changement climatique ont mis les modèles actuels de coopération pour le développement à rude épreuve, sans doute la plus rude depuis des décennies. L'objectif d'un monde meilleur pour tous semble plus difficile à atteindre, compte tenu des nouvelles tensions budgétaires, de l'impératif de fournir des biens publics régionaux et mondiaux, des besoins humanitaires exacerbés et des contextes politiques toujours plus complexes. La critique des racines, de la motivation et du fonctionnement du système international de l'aide se traduit par des appels à un changement radical, qui se manifeste, par exemple, dans les mouvements visant à s'attaquer à l'héritage colonial et au racisme dans ce secteur. Cette édition du rapport Coopération pour le développement, qui marque son 60e anniversaire, dresse un état des lieux de ces défis, et propose des pistes à suivre pour l'avenir selon quatre lignes d'action : honorer les engagements, financiers et autres, déjà pris, soutenir une transformation pilotée à l'échelon local dans les pays partenaires, moderniser les modèles d'activité et pratiques de gestion financière, et rééquilibrer les relations de pouvoir dans la prise de décisions et les partenariats à l'échelle internationale. Ce rapport s'appuie sur les réflexions de chefs d'État, de dirigeants d'organisations internationales, de praticiens, d'universitaires et de la société civile, en mettant particulièrement l'accent sur les voix qui représentent des expériences variées et des points de vue de pays à revenu faible ou intermédiaire et de leurs populations.

Wo befinden sich Farben? An Gegenständen, im Bewusstsein oder woanders? Seit dem 17. Jahrhundert diskutiert die Philosophie die Frage, wo sich Farben befinden und was sie sind. Während Farbobjektivisten behaupten, Farbe befinde sich klarerweise am Gegenstand und sei eine physikalische Eigenschaft (bspw. eine bestimmte Oberflächeneigenschaft des Gegenstandes), verteidigen Farbsubjektivisten die Auffassung, Farben seien im Bewusstsein und ausschließlich phänomenale Qualitäten (so wie Schmerz). Diese konträren Auffassungen werden im 20. Jahrhundert durch die Phänomenologie in Frage gestellt: Farben befinden sich nicht an Gegenständen oder im Bewusstsein, sondern dazwischen. Wie dieses "dazwischen" zu verstehen ist, wird anhand solcher Autoren wie Husserl, Katz, Merleau-Ponty und Murata deutlich. Unsere Auffassung, was Farben sind, bedarf aufgrund ihrer phänomenologischen Beschreibungen einer Revision.

This book is a reprint of the Special Issue "Urban-Rural-Partnerships: Sustainable and Resilient" in Land, which, based on the URP2020 objectives, invited original contributions dealing with interactions in regional systems, particularly between urban and rural actors, institutions and projects to tackle great societal challenges. The 16 contributions published included conceptual and methodological papers, as well as case studies dedicated to striking examples and providing transferable knowledge and solutions. The guest editors hope that the contributions will stimulate learning processes on various levels, i.e. cross- and transdisciplinary as well as from the local level to entire regions to the broader European and international levels, in order to foster an understanding of integrated regional and urban-rural development.

This book focuses on the evaluation, coordination, and effects of China’s natural resource utilization. By adopting both quantitative and qualitative analyses, this book objectively evaluates the spatial distribution characteristics and coupling relationship of China’s natural resource utilization based on the status quo and prominent problems during resource utilization. Moreover, the environmental, economic, and price fluctuation effects of China’s natural resource utilization are discussed. Finally, current policy systems for efficient utilization of natural resources in China and abroad are provided, which suggest a way for China to achieve efficient utilization of natural resources through an appropriate policy mechanism. This book aims to seek the balance the utilization of natural resources and sustainable development in China. It puts forward a new paradigm of natural resource utilization by incorporating the efficiency evaluation, coordination measures, and effect mechanisms of different kinds of natural resources. The evaluation system and related research methods for the efficient utilization of natural resources are very mature, laying a foundation for the development of this book’s content. As the conservation of natural resources is widely accepted, this book helps readers understand how to achieve efficient natural resource utilization in China. Meanwhile, the study of resource utilization in China can provide insights for other countries.
