Während Digitalisierung eine zentrale Position in Bildungsdiskursen einnimmt, wird die Alltagspraxis von Lehrenden und Studierenden an Hochschulen selten thematisiert. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojektes »DISTELL - Digitalisierungsstrategie für effektives Lehren und Lernen« wurde daher das handlungsrelevante Wissen Lehrender und Studierender rekonstruiert und ein sozialwissenschaftlich fundierter Begriff der digitalen Hochschulbildung entwickelt. Die drei sukzessiv (online) erscheinenden Teile des Buches stellen Forschungsprozess und -ergebnisse mit theoretischen Anschlüssen dar und führen praktische Details zur Forschung und didaktischen Fragen aus, um zuletzt wesentliche Momente mit der wissenschaftlichen Community zu diskutieren.

Die Datenwissenschaften beschäftigen sich mit der Analyse großer, komplexer Datenmengen und erregen damit im Kontext der Digitalisierung hohe mediale und politische Aufmerksamkeit. Philippe Saner untersucht die Entstehung dieses transversalen Wissensfeldes um Big Data mit einem feldtheoretischen Zugang. Er legt dar, dass es sich um ein feldübergreifendes Netzwerk von Expertisen handelt, das durch unterschiedliche Interessen, Strategien und Machtverhältnisse strukturiert ist. Die Datenwissenschaften eröffnen so einen durchlässigen Raum, der für Akteur*innen aus etablierten Feldern wie Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft, Hochschulbildung und Politik lukrative Möglichkeiten eröffnet.

This book “Approaches and Methods of Science Teaching and Sustainable Development”, edited by Dr. David González Gómez and Dr. Jin Su Jeong, aims to provide a solid research corpus for addressing the challenges needed to provide adequate science and sustainable development education to scholars with different levels of education. Sustainability is starting to form a part of the curricula for many educational institutions. However, efforts must be taken to ensure proper implementation and development of sustainability-oriented topics seeking the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in higher education as well as fresh perspectives on continuing challenges.

Depuis plus de vingt -cinq ans, l’enseignement donné au sein de l’Université de Mons a conduit à rechercher les différentes postures que l’étudiant en première année pouvait adopter à l’égard du droit en général. Il le découvre par les différents domaines où le droit est partie prenante. L’ouvrage met l’accent sur la pluralité des points de vue. Le droit européen et les droits nationaux, et principalement le droit belge, sont pris à titre d’exemple pour tenter de comprendre la réalité qui nous entoure, réalité qui va de la gestion des marchandises à la gestion des relations diplomatiques, en passant par le travail. Les thèmes ne sont pas exhaustifs et l’analyse juridique qui en est faite ne l’est pas non plus. Elle se veut simplement processus d’apprentissage du droit pour la compréhension des relations humaines, économiques, sociales et culturelles.Cette quatrième édition tient compte de la refonte du droit des obligations dans le nouveau Code civil, ainsi que d’autres réformes récentes dans le domaine des droits d’auteur ou encore du marché digital.
