Naar aanleiding van het pilootproject Kunst in Opdracht verscheen in september 2020 een boek dat de theoretische neerslag vormt van Every Collection Hides Another Collection. Als fysieke verwijzing naar de installatie is het boek gevat in een gezeefdrukt kartonnen foedraal. De teksten van onder meer Sara Weyns, Leen Hammenecker, Katrien Laenen en Bob Daems worden aangevuld met foto’s van Oxiea Villamonte en Sander Tas. Midden in het boek is de complete inventaris van de collectie opgenomen. Het geheel biedt een inkijk in de provinciale kunstcollectie en de wijze waarop deze verzameling de voorbije halve eeuw tot stand kwam.

Het belang van Jan Van Eyck voor de kunst in de 15de eeuw en daarna kan niet overschat worden. Met zijn oog voor detail en technische onderlegdheid zet hij een standaard die nooit geëvenaard zal worden. Dankzij dat uitzonderlijke talent komt de meester algauw in de gunst van vorsten en mecenassen. Over het levenspad van Jan Van Eyck is niet veel bekend, maar dat hij veel onderweg is, staat buiten kijf. De schilder woont en werkt in het bruisende Brugge.
