Prva znanstvena knjiga tiskana u seriji Biblioteka prijevoda slavenskih književnosti nadovezuje se na izdani u istoj seriji prošlogodišnji dvosveščani izbor poljskih prijevoda suvremene hrvatske drame pod naslovom ( Ne) samo ulomci . The result is međunarodnoga umjetničko-znanstvenog skupa pod naslovom From mobility to interaction. Prijevod je danas jedan from najvažnijih and najdubljih načina razmišljanja about svijetu, doživljavanja and tumačenja stvarnosti koja us okružuje. Prijevodni je zaokret jedan od nepobitnih prijeloma u suvremenoj humanistici, a naslovna je mobilnost stanje ne samo suvremenog svijeta. Među Autorima publikacije nalaze se predstavnici različitih sredina, teoretičari i praktičari drame i kapitšta, komparatisti, teatrolozi, traduktolozi, književni poznanstvenici, redatelji, ravnateljikulturnih institucija povezanih s kaštem te drama pisci. Jezici publikacije: hrvatski, srpski and engleski.

"Every five years, on the occasion of the International Congress of Slavists, a volume appears that presents a comprehensive overview of current Slavic linguistic research in the Netherlands. Like its predecessors, the present collection covers a variety of topics: Bulgarian and Polish aspectology (Barentsen, Genis), Slavic historical linguistics (Kortlandt, Vermeer), pragmatics of tense usage in Old Russian (Dekker), dialect description (Houtzagers), L2 acquisition (Tribushinina & Mak), Russian foreigners' speech imitation (Peeters & Arkema), corpus-based semantics (Fortuin & Davids) and theoretical work on negation (Keijsper, Van Helden). As can be seen from this list, the majority of the contributions in this peer-reviewed volume displays the data-oriented tradition of Dutch Slavic linguistics, but studies of a more theoretical nature are also represented".

“Zintegrowany opis semantyczno-syntaktyczny czasowników bułgarskich, polskich i rosyjskich (verba cogitandi i verba sentiendi)” (An integrated semantic and syntactic description of Bulgarian, Polish and Russian verbs: Verba cogitandi and verba sentiendi) includes an extensive monographic study of two classes of Bulgarian, Polish and Russian verbs: verbs of thinking (verba cogitandi) and verbs of feeling (verba sentiendi), as well as two dictionaries featuring their semantic and syntactic descriptions. The study aims to investigate relations between the syntactic and semantic layer, which are greatly determined by features of the verbs that build sentence structures. The authors analyse semantic-syntactic processes in sentence structures identified in the study material – most of which involve condensation – and formal manifestations of basic sentence categories that have an impact on the features of syntactic structures. The study also involves important lexicographic questions, concerning not only the form and content of dictionary entries but also their delimitation, that is, drawing a line beyond which items under consideration display different features and thus should make up separate entries. Since the volume concerns three Slavic languages, it also includes some observations and conclusions on their contrastive features.

The aim of this work is to present the role of Władysław Kowalenko as an initiator and advocate of research on early Piast strongholds with the use of interdisciplinary methods and of studies on connections between the early medieval Slavdom and the sea, as well as his contribution to the "Słownik starożytności słowiańskich" [Dictionary of Slavic Antiquities] – a unique compendium of knowledge about the history and culture of the early Slavs – where the editorial work of Kowalenko resulted in the publishing of an eight-volume encyclopaedia instead of the originally planned two-volume dictionary for the general public.

The study is devoted to nominalization processes in sentences expressing the causal relation that can be paraphrased using pure causatives (verbal exponents of the causal predicate). The causal predicate itself is modelled according to Stanisław Karolak’s theory of aspect. Considering that this work is not theoretical in nature, its main merits lie in the description of linguistic facts. The application of predicate-argument structure theory enables a comprehensive description of syntactic and pragmatic features of discrete causative predicative expressions. The study formulates strict rules which govern their use and verifies certain claims concerning such issues as the distribution of a “raised” object and the semantic category of time. Each predicative expression is given its functional equivalent in the other language.
