Réglementer les services de transport fournis au travers des plateformes numériques semble être pour les autorités européennes un enjeu de taille dans le cadre de l’économie collaborative, le présent travail a pour objectif d’étudier les réglementations qui s’y appliquent et celles qui, à l’avenir, pourraient s’y appliquer.&#13;Pour ce faire, nous allons définir les contours de l’économie collaborative et du covoiturage dans la perspective du phénomène Uber. Cet exercice de définition présente un enjeu important afin de déterminer le champ d’application des actes législatifs qui pourraient s’appliquer en la matière.&#13;Certaines réglementations européennes (directives 2011/83/UE, 2005/29/CE et 2000/31/CE) seront analysées afin de déterminer leurs impacts sur les différents acteurs de la plateforme numérique Uber. Une attention particulière sera prêtée au nouveau règlement général sur la protection des données (règlement (UE) 2016/679).&#13;À l’aide de ces analyses, les différentes options de réactions de l’Union européenne face à Uber et plus généralement face aux plateformes numériques de services de transport pourront être analysées.

Le règlement pacifique des conflits collectifs, qui constitue l'une des caractéristiques les plus remarquables du système juridique belge en matière de relations de travail, est-il remis en question ? D'aucuns ont pu certainement le craindre à la suite des nombreux conflits collectifs récents pour lesquels les protagonistes n'ont cessé de solliciter l'intervention du pouvoir judiciaire en vue de mettre un terme aux différends qui les opposaient. Le présent ouvrage reprend les contributions juridiques qui ont été présentées à l'occasion d'une journée d'études organisée par la Faculté de droit des Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis le 10 juin 1988 et consacrée à cette évolution récente des modes de règlement des conflits collectifs du travail. Il est apparu également intéressant et utile, pour la bonne compréhension des débats qu'un tel thème peut soulever, de publier les réflexions émises par les participants à la table ronde constituée à l'occasion de cette journée.

Sufism is a growing and global phenomenon, far from the declining relic it was once thought to be. This book brings together the work of fourteen leading experts to explore systematically the key themes of Sufism's new global presence, from Yemen to Senegal via Chicago and Sweden.The contributors look at the global spread and stance of such major actors as the Ba 'Alawiyya, the 'Afropolitan' Tijaniyya, and the Gülen Movement. They map global Sufi culture, from Rumi to rap, and ask how global Sufism accommodates different and contradictory gender practices. They examine the contested and shifting relationship between the Islamic and the universal: is Sufism the timeless and universal essence of all religions, the key to tolerance and co-existence between Muslims and non-Muslims? Or is it the purely Islamic heart of traditional and authentic practice and belief?Finally, the book turns to politics. States and political actors in the West and in the Muslim world are using the mantle and language of Sufism to promote their objectives, while Sufis are building alliances with them against common enemies. This raises the difficult question of whether Sufis are defending Islam against extremism, supporting despotism against democracy, or perhaps doing both.
