DADA is een tijdschrift voor kinderen van 6 tot 106. Over kunst en kunstgeschiedenis. Zonder advertenties. Zonder subsidie. We maken DADA voor iedereen die verder kijkt dan zijn neus lang is en altijd nieuwsgierig blijft naar hoe het anders kan. Soms vertellen we in een nummer alles over een kunstenaar en soms behandelen we een kunststroming. Het gaat bij DADA om het plezier van het kijken en dus is iedere DADA zelf ook een plaatje. In ieder nummer staan een aantal vaste artikelen: de artikelen die je alles vertellen over het onderwerp, een ABC met de 'moeilijke' woorden en 2 artikelen waarmee je direct aan de slag kunt en eigen kunstjes kunt doen. DADA sluit ieder nummer af met tips over boeken en tentoonstellingen.

This book gathers together essays written by leading scholars of adaptation studies to explore the full range of practices and issues currently of concern in the field. The chapters demonstrate how content and messaging are shared across an increasing number of platforms, whose interrelationships have become as intriguing as they are complex. Recognizing that a signature feature of contemporary culture is the convergence of different forms of media, the contributors of this book argue that adaptation studies has emerged as a key discipline that, unlike traditional literary and art criticism, is capable of identifying and analyzing the relations between source texts and adaptations created from them. Adaptation scholars have come to understand that these relations not only play out in individual case histories but are also institutional, and this collection shows how adaptation plays a key role in the functioning of cinema, television, art, and print media. The volume is essential reading for all those interested both in adaptation studies and also in the complex forms of intermediality that define contemporary culture in the 21st century.

Zwischen Komplizenschaft und Sabotage verstrickt sich das Handeln der Akteure in eklatante Widersprüche. Vom Alltagsgeschäft der Kunsthändler bis zum Widerstand gegen restriktive Vorschriften reicht das Themenspektrum, vom Auktionshandel bis zum Schwarz- und Schattenmarkt, von zahllosen Verbrechen nicht nur an jüdischen Sammlern und Händlern bis zum Kunstraub in den von deutschen Truppen besetzten Ländern. Kunst- und Wirtschaftshistoriker untersuchen in diesem Buch den Kunstmarkt und seine Mechanismen im Nationalsozialismus, die Rolle der Raubkunst sowie insbesondere moderner und "entarteter" Werke auf dem Kunstmarkt im "Dritten Reich". Writing a history of art dealing in the Third Reich presents a special challenge, not only because of the difficult situation regarding source material. The actors' activities are enmeshed in outrageous contradictions involving complicity and sabotage. The range of issues includes the day-to-day business of art dealers through to the resistance to restrictive regulations, from auction trade through to black market, from numerous crimes involving not only Jewish collectors and dealers, through to art theft in countries occupied by German forces. In this book, art historians and economic historians investigate the art market and its mechanisms under National Socialism, the role of art theft and, in particular, that of modern and "degenerate" works of art in the art market.
