La pratique de la pleine conscience (ou mindfulness) a pour objectif de nous aider à rester au contact de ce que nous vivons, à prendre pleinement conscience de nos pensées, émotions et actions. L'effet bénéfique de la pratique de la pleine conscience a été démontré dans de nombreux domaines. De plus en plus de gens se tournent vers ce type de pratique et l'on voit d'ailleurs fleurir les ouvrages sur la méditation destinés au grand public. Le monde universitaire se penche également assidument sur la question, avec de nombreux articles ciblant des programmes tels que MBCT (« Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy ») ou MBSR (« Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction »). L'objectif de ce projet est d'apporter un éclairage sur l'influence de la pratique de la pleine conscience en ciblant deux thématiques : celle de la santé physique et mentale et celle des compétences dont nous avons besoin pour vivre une vie satisfaisante.
