The volume "Perspectives in humanities. Keys for interdisciplinarity" gathers some of the papers presented in the first edition of the international conferences "Perspectives in the humanities and social sciences : hinting at interdisciplinarity", a project coordinated by the Department of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences and Humanities. The authors included here accepted to provide us with their own "keys" for figuring out "interdisciplinarity", within the frame of current debates between monodisciplinary and pluridisciplinary approaches. The idea to put together various methodologies and objects of research addressed the scholars' mistrust regarding the concept's pertinence and validity, either as a means of investigation or as token of researched objects as such.
