Many countries around the globe, particularly the systemic advanced economies, face the challenge of closing output gaps and raising potential output growth. Addressing these challenges requires a package of macroeconomic, financial and structural policies that will boost both aggregate demand and aggregate supply, while closing the shortfall between demand and supply. Each element of this package is important and one cannot substitute for the other: easy monetary policy will not raise potential output just as structural reforms will not close the output gap. This report studies the impact on emerging markets and nonsystemic advanced economies from monetary policy actions in systemic advanced economies, with a look also at knock-on effects from the decline in world oil prices.

This licentiate thesis by Joen Dahlberg explores cooperative planning and cost allocation in logistics, using cooperative game theory as a tool to study cooperation between stakeholders. The research investigates how freight forwarders can consolidate goods to reduce operational costs, and the potential benefits of cooperation between competitors, termed coopetition. The thesis presents a business model that emphasizes fair cost allocations to maintain cooperation. It includes case studies in urban logistics and the forest industry, highlighting the role of municipalities and sequential stakeholder cooperation. The thesis is intended for academics and professionals interested in logistics, game theory, and efficient resource allocation.

Łańcuchy dostaw wpisały się we współczesną gospodarkę. Stanowią one niezwykle istotny poziom analizy ekonomicznej. Obecnie obserwuje się zachodzące z dużą intensywnością procesy ewolucyjne w tych strukturach kooperacyjnych. Ich efektem są nowe modele biznesowe i nowe formy działania. Podjęty w pracy zasadniczy problem badawczy sprowadza się do pytania o przyczyny i kierunki ewolucji łańcuchów dostaw. W pracy zidentyfikowano oraz usystematyzowano główne i najbardziej widoczne kierunki tego procesu. Wskazano także kompleksowe metodyki modelowania procesu zmian organizacyjnych oraz narzędzia diagnostyczne, a także rozwiązania w obszarze technologii informacyjnych o największym potencjale z perspektywy ewolucji łańcuchów dostaw. Praca ma charakter studium teoretycznego, zawarte są w niej jednak liczne odwołania do praktyki funkcjonowania łańcuchów dostaw.
