"Médiation", c'est d'abord un lieu, perdu dans le massif des Maures, au fin fond du Var. Au milieu d'une nature à la fois sombre et luxuriante, au climat rude mais gorgé de soleil, quelques bâtisses, de bric et de broc, y accueillent une dizaine d'hommes sans abri, certains ayant passé plusieurs années à la rue, d'autres se retrouvant gravement handicapés, suite à une maladie ou un accident.Les uns ne restent que quelques mois, d'autres envisagent d'y demeurer jusqu'à la fin de leur vie. Et avec eux, des moutons, des poules, des ânes, des chats, et de nombreux chiens.Arche de Noé réunissant tous types de galères dans un site superbe, Radeau de la Méduse en pleine mer d'azur.Mais à ceux qui viennent y chercher refuge, "Médiation" propose de nouvelles racines, y compris au sens le plus concret, celles de ces arbres, ces plantes, que les résidents apprennent à cultiver. En s'occupant des animaux, ils s'y attachent également, et réapprennent à s'occuper d'eux-mêmes.
