This volume contains the major result of the work undertaken by the international research group "Transfer of Movables" which belonged to the Study Group on a European Civil Code. It covers the most important aspects of the law of property in movables, such as the transfer of ownership based on the transferor's right and the good faith acquisition of ownership. The suggested black letter provisions are accompanied by extensive explanatory comments and comparative notes providing information on the existing rules of the EU Member States. As compared to Book VIII of the DCFR, this volume contains additional and partly revised national notes, extended comments, translations of the black letter rules and adapted registers. The "Principles of European Law" are published in co-operation with Oxford University Press and Staempfli (Switzerland).

Les bailleurs de fonds pour la coopération et le développement ont à rendre compte de la manière dont ils gèrent l’aide et des résultats obtenus avec leur concours sur la voie du développement. Ils ont pour ambition de favoriser une plus grande « appropriation » par les pays partenaires, de davantage utiliser les systèmes nationaux de ces pays et d’instaurer une coopération plus productive. Cela nécessite de décentraliser les activités, de concentrer les efforts, d’adopter des méthodes de gestion axées sur les résultats, de créer de nouveaux dispositifs, de modifier la composition des effectifs et de renforcer les capacités en interne et dans les pays partenaires. Cet ouvrage présente les dispositions prises par les différents donneurs pour réaliser leurs ambitions en matière de coopération pour le développement et remplir leur part des accords conclus à Paris en 2005 (dans la Déclaration de Paris) et à Accra en 2008 (à travers le Programme d’action d’Accra) en vue de rendre l’aide plus efficace.
