La chirurgie esthétique vise à réparer les injustices de la Nature mais elle est considérée comme un attentat à l'intégrité de l'individu. Les rapports entre le bistouri et l'âme rendent particulièrement étonnante la réalisation de cette activité. Although every year 5-10 million Americans have prosthetic devices fitted in their bodies, there are currently few well-accepted standards for their ongoing clinical management.
