The book contains a nice mixture of contributions: from very theoretical and historical to testimonies of people trying to build PhD’s on their own work in practice. When developing future research in the field of Architecture, this wide range of experiences and visions, will especially be important to take into account. It is clear there is not one direction to go and to develop research in Design and Architecture. A wide variety of opinions and experiences has been reported, and it is my hope research will develop in strong relation to practice and explore the borders of the field.
