This text addresses the very serious issue that too many of our adolescents must face, that of depression and suicide. The Surgeon General's Report indicates that ten percent of our youth are, at any one point in time in America, suffering from a mental illness. If not treated, they can go on to have a series of problems such as delinquency and truancy, and may end up in prison.
