Proceedings of a specialty symposium on urban drainage modeling held in conjunction with the 2001 World Water and Environmental Resources Congress in Orlando, Florida, May 20-24, 2001. Sponsored by the Environmental and Water Resources Institute of ASCE; Joint IAHR/IWA Committee on Urban Drainage. This collection contains 91 papers focusing on the process of building and using water quantity and quality models for urban systems. As the power of desktop computing has grown, existing model tools have matured and gained new capabilities. Topics include: combined and sanitary sewers, sewer sediment analyses, genetic algorithms, watershed assessments, flood management, quantity and quality analyses, and data needs.
