Abstract

A "clickable" time zone map of the United States takes the user to another screen that shows the correct time for states in that time zone. The "time exhibits" link takes the user to government and non-government sites showing various ways time has been measured over the centuries. These sites include: A walk through time (history of timekeeping); Calendars through the ages (with information on days, weeks, months, and years); Daylight saving time; ClockWorks (shows clock mechanisms); It's about time (advances in timekeeping accuracy and atomic clocks); and the Quartz Watch (inside the wristwatch).
