Ce mémoire a pour objectif de décrire les modalités d'application pédagogique de la vidéoconférence et de l'audioconférence. Les deux conférences électroniques ont alors été au centre d'une expérimentation visant à estimer l'intérêt respectif que leur portent des étudiants universitaires. L'analyse des données récoltées montre que la vidéoconférence devance l'audioconférence dans plusieurs des domaines d'exploration envisagés. Cela se révèle d'autant plus vrai lorqu'une pratique pédagogique très organisée est couplée à cette technologie.

A travers nos interventions dans une classe de première année primaire et plus précisément dans le cadre de l'utilisation des TIC, nous tentons d'introduire un changement dans la pratique pédagogique de l'enseignant. Notre projet se veut constructiviste et résulte de la négociation des objectifs avec l'enseignant. Il se veut aussi descriptif de la pratique pédagogique de l'enseignant lors de l'utilisation des TIC.
