Volkskrant-correspondents Westerman and Rijs reconstruct and evaluate the Dutchbat experiences in the Srebrenica-enclave in Bosnia-Hercegovina. Srebrenica was captured and ethnically cleansed by Bosnian-Serbs in July 1995. Dutch UN-troops were present in the area and could or would do nothing to rescue thousands of muslim men that were killed afterwards
