Abstract

The following papers are part of the so called Bosey workshop, it deals with the development or North-South issue, in which we see that the problem is increasing, that the aid and industrialization is benefitting only sections of the privileged in the developing countries. The main issue is not growth but justice so as to avoid a system whereby dependence and domination increases. At the end of the booklet we find an interesting criticism of the diagnosis of the problem in terms of the causes of poverty of the Third World and of the preverence the book has for a socialist model, the book also deals with the contribution the churches can and should make in this area, especially in the demand for self-determination, other aspects are the ecumenical and theological elements.
