The New Zealand Slavonic Journal (ISSN 0028-8683) is a refereed annual which publishes original contributions relating to all aspects of Slavonic studies, including, but not limited to, literature, linguistics, folklore, history, and political science. We also welcome articles on comparative topics and especially contributions dealing with Russian-New Zealand and Russian-Australasian affinities and links. The NZSJ is co-edited by Henrietta Mondry and Evgeny Pavlov at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch and has an international advisory board. Between 1982 and 2003 it was edited by Irene Zohrab and between 1974 and 1982 by Patrick Waddington at Victoria University of Wellington.
