Abstract

Based in London, it published short fiction and poetry by a wide range of writers - among them Paul Bowles, Harold Brodkey, Anthony Burgess, William Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Iris Murdoch, Joyce Carol Oates, Grace Paley, V.S. Pritchett, Muriel Spark, Paul Theroux, William Trevor, and John Updike - as well as drawings and interviews with film, theater, and literary figures such as Federico Fellini, Harold Pinter, and Jorge Luis Borges.
