"William Traugott Krug was born June 22, 1770, at Radis, a village in the circle of Wittemberg, in Saxony. He studied at Wittemberg, and in 1794 commenced lecturing there as adjunct of the philosophical Faculty. He was a diligent writer on political and philosophical subjects. His greatest work is his Dictionary of Philosophy. This work is a translation of the leading propositions of Krug's Fundamental Philosophy.
