This volume takes a closer look at women's perspectives on (post-)migration and explores the uncertainties, frictions, struggles and opportunities emerging from that context. It revolves around African and Afrodescendant female writers and artists and refers to the uncomfortable stories they tell, stories about what it means to have migrated to, live in, or have been born in Romance-speaking Europe. Their voices reveal positionings of the 'female Other' that oscillate between alienation and belonging, moving between African, European and other (diasporic) spaces. The scholarly articles, from the disciplines of literary and cultural studies, explore literature, theatre, film and the internet and cover a variety of countries and Romance languages. The volume engages simultaneously in a dialogue with writers and activists: it includes short and micro stories by Melibea Obono and Ubah Cristina Ali Farah as well as interviews with Amina Marini, Mimina Icir Di Muro and Aminata Aidara, Kaha Mohamed Aden, Igiaba Scego and Desirée Bela-Lobedde. Dieser Band wirft einen genaueren Blick auf die Perspektiven von Frauen auf (Post-)Migration und untersucht die Unsicherheiten, Reibungen, Kämpfe und Chancen, die sich aus diesem Kontext ergeben. Er konzentriert sich auf afrikanische und afrodeszendente Schriftstellerinnen und Künstlerinnen und bezieht sich auf die unbequemen Geschichten, die sie erzählen, Geschichten darüber, was es bedeutet, in das romanischsprachige Europa migriert zu sein, dort zu leben oder dort geboren worden zu sein. Ihre Stimmen offenbaren Positionierungen des "weiblichen Anderen", die zwischen Entfremdung und Zugehörigkeit oszillieren und sich zwischen afrikanischen, europäischen und anderen (diasporischen) Räumen bewegen. Die wissenschaftlichen Beiträge aus den Bereichen Literatur- und Kulturwissenschaften befassen sich mit Literatur, Theater, Film und Internet und decken eine Vielzahl von Ländern und romanischen Sprachen ab. Der Band tritt gleichzeitig in einen Dialog mit Schriftstellern und Aktivisten: Er enthält Kurz- und Mikrogeschichten von Melibea Obono und Ubah Cristina Ali Farah sowie Interviews mit Amina Marini, Mimina Icir Di Muro und Aminata Aidara, Kaha Mohamed Aden, Igiaba Scego und Desirée Bela-Lobedde.

"Quelle place les femmes, réputées 'querelleuses' selon Richelet, ont-elles occupée dans les échanges polémiques censés garantir leur foi et mettre une sourdine aux propos de 'la philosophie' des Lumières? Quel rôle exact ont-elles joué dans le déferlement des affrontements qui ont accompagné la structuration du champ intellectuel et dans l'appropriation positive de disciplines traditionnellement réservées à l'Église et à ses pasteurs? Dans quelle mesure leur éducation les a-t-elle préparées à ces échanges pro et contra et à la pratique d'une apologétique chrétienne qui, tout au long du XVIIIe, ne cesse de s'ouvrir stratégiquement aux séductions du siècle? Telles sont quelques-unes des questions qui hantent ce volume. Depuis Albert Monod, en 1916, il était de coutume de placer l'essor et l'étude de l'apologétique chrétienne entre les terminus a quo et ad quem emblématiques de 1670 et de 1802, soit entre deux œuvres--Les Pensées et le Génie du Christianisme--et deux figures masculines--Pascal et Chateaubriand--, certes écrasantes de maestria, mais qui obéraient une bibliographie prolixe, avec pour effet de galvauder également toute prise de parole féminine".

This is the first edition of Jacinta's complete work. The four books of poems that he published, between the years of 1942 and 1958, were released in small editions, long sold out. This edition contains Jacinta's complete poetry, including her published books, sparse poems and unpublished poems, the latter part of a manuscript series, produced in the author's last years, never brought before the public. The volume also includes a complete prose by Jacinta, the journalist's biography and an image notebook, containing photos of Jacinta and important people and places in her life.

Escribir la infancia aborda un tópico tradicional y al mismo tiempo vigente en diversas literaturas, pero dándole un sesgo espacio-temporal y de género específicos: la niñez recreada por escritoras mexicanas contemporáneas. En dieciséis estudios y una adenda se analiza la obra de escritoras nacidas en la primera mitad de nuestro siglo -algunas desaparecidas y otras aún en plena producción-, desde la única narradora de la Revolución mexicana -Nellie Campobello- hasta la versátil Carmen Boullosa, con estaciones en la obra de Rosario Castellanos, Josefina Vicens, Inés Arredondo, Elena Poniatowska, Elena Garro, Margo Glantz y María Luisa Puga, entre otras.
