La mondialisation défigure l’humain : elle atteint moins le visage que le vivant lui-même, ou plutôt, non, elle atteint ce que l’on ne voit pas du visage, l’indicible qui est au-delà, quelque chose comme l’évidence de l’humain. Les gueules cassées d’aujourd’hui, montrées à la télévision et médiatisées à grand renfort d’émotion ou simplement réduites à des avatars inévitables, glissent sur notre quotidien sans le troubler, comme si la défiguration pouvait bien atteindre aussi les mots des hommes et menacer leur pensée.
