Confrontées aux défis écologiques, bouleversements numériques, risques et catastrophes de tout ordre, les villes et territoires s'interrogent sur leurs capacités d'adaptation, de transformation et d'anticipation. Cet ouvrage, issu du colloque de Cerisy sur « Villes et territoires résilients », propose un dialogue contradictoire et constructif entre contributeurs issus d'horizons divers : chercheurs, industriels, ingénieurs, politiques, élus, acteurs culturels, assureurs, opérateurs de réseaux… La résilience de qui ? De quoi ? Pour qui ? Avec quels moyens, outils et connaissances ? Au-delà des différences d'interprétation selon les disciplines de la notion comme de l'évaluation des actions engagées au titre de la résilience, des convergences se sont dessinées autour des enjeux, des méthodes et des leviers d'action.
