The "Schweizerische Kirchenzeitung" (SKZ), founded in 1832 by priests, lay people and by the publisher Räber in Lucerne as a private journal, is since 1900 Theology journal and the Official Journal of the diocese of Basel and since 1967 or 1970 also of the dioceses Chur and St. Gallen and of the German-speaking parts of the dioceses of Lausanne-Geneva-Freiburg and Sitten. Since 2003, is included the "Kipa-Woche" and since 2015 "kath.ch 7 Tage" as an integral part of the SKZ.
