Zijn jongeren die een open, tolerante houding hebben tegenover homoseksualiteit over het algemeen ook flexibeler in hun opvattingen over sekserollen van mannen en vrouwen? Gaat homofobie automatisch gepaard met ‘klassieke’ opvattingen over mannen en vrouwen? In dit kwalitatief onderzoek werd nagegaan op welke manier jongeren zich uitlaten over holebi’s. Hierbij werd bijzondere aandacht besteed aan de relatie tussen hun attitude tegenover holebiseksualiteit en de betekenis die zij toekennen aan de concepten van mannelijkheid en vrouwelijkheid en aan de traditionele man-vrouw rolpatronen.

Since 1965, Western American Literature has been the leading peer-reviewed journal in the literary and cultural study of the North American West, defined broadly to include western Canada and northern Mexico.
