Este livro constitui-se de uma coletânea de sete registros de estudos teórico-empíricos sobre empreendedorismo, realizados entre os anos de 2013 a 2016. Os três primeiros registros abordam a importância e a eficácia da educação empreendedora nas IES, com delineamentos de pesquisa bem diferentes. Os dois registros seguintes tratam o empreendedorismo sob uma perspectiva micro e relacionam o perfil empreendedor com suas características pessoais e sociais ou os classificam pela sua motivação para empreender. Por fim, os dois últimos registros já adotam uma perspectiva mais macro e verificam o papel do empreendedorismo e de uma de suas instituições de fomento para o desenvolvimento econômico.

To celebrate the 270th anniversary of the De Gruyter publishing house, the company is providing permanent open access to 270 selected treasures from the De Gruyter Book Archive. Titles will be made available to anyone, anywhere at any time that might be interested. The DGBA project seeks to digitize the entire backlist of titles published since 1749 to ensure that future generations have digital access to the high-quality primary sources that De Gruyter has published over the centuries.

The "Technical Textiles-Present and Future" International Symposium is a scientific event that has become traditional in the field of textiles, since 2009, being organized by the Department of Engineering and Design of Textile Products within the Faculty of Industrial Design and Business Management from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania. Over the years and from one edition to another, the symposium brought together leading researchers, textile experts from the industry, teachers from academia and vocational education, PhD students, and relevant stakeholders from the national and international scientific area to share their knowledge and the good practices regarding technical textiles. Reaching the seventh edition now, the TTPF symposium has become a scientific forum in the field of technical textiles, supporting the cross-disciplinary research fields, providing the participants a real opportunity for ideas exchanging, to present the latest achievements, and to discuss perspectives. With the focus on the latest scientific advances in technical textiles but also on the companies' needs for innovative solutions, a new topic concerning environmental and sustainability issues for the technical textiles field was introduced for TTPF 2021, a topic which we hope will stir the interest of all participants. The 1st edition of the International Conference on Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS’22) is a major gathering of researchers, engineers, and practitioners to connect and share knowledge on Chemical and Biological Sciences from both theoretical and practical perspectives. We particularly encourage contributions that describe real-world problems, interdisciplinary research, and experimental and/or theoretical studies that generate new insights to promote the advancement of Chemical and Biological Sciences. Submitted papers should be original and relevant to any of the areas listed below. All accepted papers will be presented at the conference by one of the authors and published in the proceedings of MAASI with an ISBN. The acceptance will be based on their quality, relevance, and originality. Presentation options include both oral and poster sessions. We have planned special sessions for case studies and commercial presentations, as well as tutorials concentrating on technical orscientific matters. Companies that would like to present their products or methodologies, as well as researchers who are interested in demonstrating a demo or presenting a tutorial are welcome to contact the conference secretariat.
