The volume includes the critical editions of 3 unpublished commentaries on the Song of Songs. The first one dates back to the Carolingian Age and combines together the commentaries of Origen and Justus of Urgell; the second one, written in 12th century France, expands Haimo of Auxerre’s commentary through the use of other sources, both late-antique and coeval. The third one was composed in the area of Naples in the 12th century on the basis of an earlier anonymous commentary.
