Abstract

Esta coletânea reúne 11 textos sobre as relações entre psicologia e educação no contexto brasileiro contemporâneo, profundamente marcado por desigualdades sociais e lutas políticas. Este livro apresenta uma coletânea de trabalhos sobre as tecnologias digitais da informação e comunicação (TDIC) e as novas metodologias de ensino desenvolvidas por meio de pesquisas sobre o ensino de Ciências e aplicadas na educação básica. O livro está dividido em duas partes: a primeira trata das potencialidades dessas novas tecnologias e das políticas e legislações que regem os cursos de formação de professores; a segunda, apresenta trabalhos desenvolvidos e aplicados no "chão da escola", como animações com o stop motion; simulação com Phet sobre a escala de pH; o Phet utilizado no estudo gráfico de Cinemática; a Plataforma AppInventor para desenvolvimento de aplicativos para smartphones; o ensino híbrido com as ferramentas do Google for Education e relacionado à rotação de estações. A partir dessas abordagens, os autores desenvolvem e compartilham algumas experiências didáticas de sucesso de aplicação de Tecnologias Digitais da Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) no ensino de Física e de Química.

Estas páginas constituyen las Memorias del V Congreso Internacional de Etnografía y Educación. Prácticas educativas, pedagogía e interculturalidad (2020) convocado por la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana del Ecuador. En el Congreso participaron investigadores, docentes y estudiantes de México, Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Antillas, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Italia, Francia y España con ponencias sobre tres ejes temáticos: Educación, sociedad y política; Escuela, diversidades y exclusiones; y Avances teóricos y metodológicos de la investigación etnográfica en educación. Abstract

Este libro es el producto y la propuesta del quehacer intelectual, de la discusión y la investigación académica, de la preocupación pastoral y educativa de quienes conforman la red académica IUS Education Group de las Instituciones Universitarias Salesianas (IUS EG). Recoge las memorias del VI Seminario del IUS EG, que se llevó a cabo en la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, sede Quito, del 26 al 28 de abril de 2022. El Seminario -así como su memoria- responde a tres ejes temáticos: "Desafíos educativo-pastorales de la educación superior salesiana en contextos de crisis", "Formas y espacios para la participación juvenil" e "Innovaciones educativas para la educación superior en contextos de frontera". Conferencias magistrales, trabajos de investigación y relatos de experiencia que se presentaron en los paneles y mesas temáticas, conforman esta memoria. Abstract

Con este mismo título, en diciembre de 2021, apareció el primer volumen de este trabajo. La intención fue sistematizar algunos proyectos de vinculación que habían logrado impactos sociales en términos cualitativos y de innovación educativa. En esa oportunidad se presentó una obra con diez capítulos de reflexión, sistematización, análisis y descripción de la trascendental importancia que implica, para la UPS, la vinculación con la sociedad. Ahora, al cumplir la UPS 28 años de vida institucional, presentamos este segundo volumen, que recoge en 14 capítulos el trabajo de 3 docentes, administrativos, estudiantes e investigadores invitados de distintos campos científicos. Es la continuación de la sistematización de los proyectos de vinculación emblemáticos que se han desarrollado en las sedes de Cuenca, Quito y Guayaquil de la universidad. EN cada uno de ellos se podrá encontrar el esfuerzo que la UPS ha desarrollado en estos 28 años, desde su fundación, para conseguir transformaciones sociales. Fiel a su misión y visión institucional, ha desplegado un arduo trabajo en el capo científico, tecnológico y cultural, dándose a conocer como una institución de excelencia académica, producción científica, responsabilidad social y capacidad de incidir en el desarrollo de la sociedad ecuatoriana.

Abstract

The student is becoming a teacher is presenting the first Norwegian study made on the sense of belonging in higher education. Central themes are comprehension and knowledge development, and the students' process of formation is essential, without it being explicit in all the articles. The authors are concerned with interplay between techne and fronesis related to individual growth and professional development. The informants of these studies are teacher students from year 1-4, resulting in a wide range of new knowledge and theoretical viewpoints. In this anthology, the question of the dualism between theory and practice is raised. Could it be that knowledge is a circular production from practise to theory and back? It is also evident that the sensation of social belonging is closely connected to a sense of academic belonging, and that the cohesion of teacher students and their teachers is of great impact. The target group of this peer-reviewed anthology is teacher students and teacher student educators. However, these articles will also be relevant for other educational groups and students.

Abstract

In an effort to improve student achievement, thousands of US schools have adopted school reform models devised externally by universities and other organizations. Such models have been successful in improving individual schools or groups of schools, but what happens when educational reform attempts to extend from one school to many? Through qualitative data from several studies, this book explores what happens when school reform 'goes to scale'. Topics covered include: *why and how schools are adopting reforms *the influence of the local context and wider constraints on the implementation of reform *teachers and principals as change agents in schools *the evolution of reform design teams *the implementation, sustainability and expiration of reform, and its impact on educational change Each chapter concludes with guidelines for policy and practice. This book will be of interest to educational leaders and staff developers, educational researchers and policy makers, in the US and internationally.

Abstract

Inclusive teaching and school development is currently a central topic of educational research on schools, teaching, and professionalization. However, the German school type of Gymnasium (grammar school) is rarely taken into account. Nevertheless, changes in the general conditions and the associated reform expectations of the last decades are also reflected in studies on Gymnasium. With the three exploratory studies contained in this volume, we ask how inclusion at respectively for the Gymnasium is addressed by teachers at that type of school and by students in a Gymnasium teacher training program. The state of research on the perspectives of teachers as well as students in teacher training programs on inclusion is presented in a separate article. The discussion will be introduced with a contribution on the position of Gymnasium in the structured school system in Germany and the resulting challenges for an inclusive school development that includes the Gymnasium.
