Since the publication of the first edition in 1976, there has been a notable increase of interest in the development of logic. This is evidenced by the several conferences on the history of logic, by a journal devoted to the subject, and by an accumulation of new results. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Theory and Applications of Satisfiability Testing, SAT 2008, held in Guangzhou, P. R. China, in May 2008. The 17 revised full papers presented together with 8 revised short papers and 2 invited talks were carefully selected from 70 submissions.
