Dit is het twaalfde Jaarboek Ergotherapie. Net zoals de vorige edities wil het Jaarboek Ergotherapie 2020 een werkinstrument zijn voor de ergotherapeut in opleiding en op het werkveld. De verschillende disciplines komen hierbij aan bod: fysieke revalidatie, geestelijke gezondheidszorg, ontwikkelingsproblematiek en ouderenzorg.Het boek biedt een overzicht van recente evoluties, onderzoeksresultaten, praktijkontwikkelingen en overheidsbeleid inzake ergotherapie. Het geeft daarnaast ook inzicht in het beroepsleven van de ergotherapeut en de beroepsvereniging.Het Jaarboek Ergotherapie vervangt het vroegere tijdschrift voor ergotherapie Acta Ergotherapeutica Belgica. De redactieraad bestaat uit docenten uit de verschillende opleidingen.
