Monografie Drama dirigenta je první rozsáhlou biografií Jaroslava Krombholce (1918–1983), nejtalentovanějšího dirigenta ze školy Václava Talicha, spjatého celoživotně zejména s operou Národního divadla v Praze. Život Jaroslava Krombholce a jeho ženy, operní pěvkyně Marii Tauberové, autor detailně dokumentuje na základě pramenů dostupných v rozsáhlé pozůstalosti manželů Krombholcových, archivu Národního divadla a dalších institucí. Čerpá rovněž z dobového tisku a pamětnické literatury, ale i z poznámek z osobních setkání s dirigentem, s nímž byl v příbuzenském vztahu. Velká pozornost je v publikaci věnována erudovaným popisům jednotlivých představení, v menší míře i činnosti koncertní. Dlouhodobá Krombholcova spolupráce s vídeňskými, londýnskými a dalšími zahraničními operními domy a shromáždění základních ohlasů na ni jednoznačně dokazují, že Jaroslav Krombholc byl umělecká osobnost světové úrovně a společně s Rafaelem Kubelíkem, Karlem Ančerlem a Václavem Smetáčkem jeden z nejlepších českých dirigentů potalichovského pokolení. Mimoto je monografie závažným příspěvkem ke kritickým dějinám pražského Národního divadla. Electric motors are widely used in industries to convert electrical energy into mechanical form. Control techniques are designed to improve the performance and efficiency of the drive so that large amounts of electrical energy can be saved.
