This book chronicles the history and impact of the Vlaamse Leergangen, an organization founded in 1924 to promote higher education in Dutch at the Catholic University of Leuven. Initiated by Mgr. Pieter-Jozef Sencie, the Vlaamse Leergangen was part of a larger movement for the emancipation of the Flemish-speaking population in Belgium.
