New Dominant Logic of Marketing verstanden.

Sexual health campaigns to tackle the rise in sexually transmitted infections in England are at the core of sexual health charities' and grassroots organizations' work. Some of them collaborated with the author's translation students to produce inclusive translations of their sexual health content (website and multimedia content). The role of translation and localization within multicultural contexts can be seen as 'social activism' promoting sexual health and community engagement, with a view to providing wider healthcare access and information using inclusive language. This Element presents students' approaches to sexual health translation, using language as a vessel for change and striking a balance between clients' expectations, translation industry best practices, and socio-educational needs. The data analysis of the students' experiences will make the case for wider embedding of queer pedagogy approaches into the translation curriculum.

This dissertation by Sofia Hammarström explores the risk of sexual ill health among young people, focusing on Swedish youth clinics' efforts to identify and address these risks. The study aims to develop a risk-assessment model for chlamydia and implement an evidence-based tool, SEXIT, to identify risks related to sexually transmitted infections, unintended pregnancies, and sexual violence. Using a mixed methods approach, the research includes data analysis from a national sample of young people and pilot implementation of SEXIT in youth clinics. The findings indicate that SEXIT is effective in facilitating discussions about sexual health and identifying multiple risk factors. The tool is shown to improve the consistency and quality of care provided by clinic staff, fostering trust and openness among clinic visitors. The intended audience includes healthcare professionals and researchers in public health and youth services.
