Ces deux artistes, très liés à la vie, trouvent la force motrice de leur création dans le rêve et la fantaisie, sans nécessité d'une grande technicité, ils utilisent les mêmes objets dans des sens différents non seulement dans la manière de les assembler mais déjà dans la perception qu'il en ont : d'une part éléments chargés d'histoire, d'autre part éléments quelconques déclencheurs de rêves.
