Internationally acclaimed Dutch artist Claudy Jongstra creates visceral landscapes of texture and color. These site specific and often monumental murals and sculptural installations have a strong connection with their physical space. Using a surprising range of natural materials and techniques, Jongstra's distinctive approach involves a breathtaking inquiry into the mysteries of dye crops and natural pigments from which her intense nuances of colors are crafted.
