Medewerkers belichamen een merk en geven het merk vaak een menselijk gezicht. Waar we in branding vaak concentreren op massamedia campagnes of sociale media presence, komt het merk veelal tot leven wanneer medewerkers zich er ook naar gedragen. In deze publicatie onderzoekt SWOCC door middel van focusgroepen hoe medewerkers middels hun gedrag bijdragen aan het merk.Veruit de meeste gevallen verlopen via een script waarbij medewerkers aan verwachtingen voldoen door een rol te spelen. Echter, juist in ongewone situaties kunnen medewerkers het merk versterken door te improviseren en verwachtingen te overtreffen. In dit boek zijn artikelen en columns van het eind 2015 verschenen lustrumnummer van het tijdschrift Kind en Adolescent opgenomen waarin wordt teruggeblikt op 35 jaar ontwikkeling en onderzoek in de pedagogische, psychiatrische en psychologische praktijk rondom kinderen en jeugdigen. Het voortschrijdend inzicht bestaat uit zowel betere onderbouwing van professioneel handelen en evidentie voor nieuwe inzichten als uit bescheidenheid en pas op de plaats.
