Het boek is ook verkrijgbaar als e-book. De auteurs Adri van der Meer heeft Chemische Technologie en Toegepaste Wiskunde gestudeerd. Hij heeft vanaf 1974 tot zijn pensionering in 2012 aan de Universiteit Twente wiskundeonderwijs verzorgd voor studenten in vele verschillende technische studierichtingen. Hij was (mede)-verantwoordelijk voor het wiskundedeel in het curriculum van de studierichtingen Civiele Techniek, Biomedische Technologie en Technische Geneeskunde. Ook is Adri van der Meer auteur van het boek Maple, wiskunde in berekenbaar perspectief. Mick Litjens studeerde Wiskunde aan de TU Delft en is jarenlang docent geweest aan de NHL Hogeschool. Hij doceerde daar een veelheid aan wiskundige vakken.
