Hij was (mede)-verantwoordelijk voor het wiskundedeel in het curriculum van de studierichtingen Civiele Techniek, Biomedische Technologie en Technische Geneeskunde. Ook is Adri van der Meer auteur van het boek Maple, wiskunde in berekenbaar perspectief. Mick Litjens studeerde Wiskunde aan de TU Delft en is jarenlang docent geweest aan de NHL Hogeschool. Hij doceerde daar een veelheid aan wiskundige vakken.
